The film opens with exterior scenes of the buildings and surroundings of Yardley House before we see groups of boys play and eat together and make their way into the village. Individual boys smile at the camera and show off their certificates of scripture knowledge. Different sporting activities follow along with fun at a playground and swimming pool.

The boys excitedly board a ‘Knights’ bus from Northampton laden with picnic hampers and equipment for an outing to the seaside. Lots of fun and laughter ensues with games and fun on on the beach and swimming in the sea.

Back at Yardley House the boys play on a ‘witches hat’ in the playground and line up for the camera to film them and hug the resident dog.
